Sales Agronomists,
Multiple Locations

We are currently recruiting for Sales Agronomists to join our teams based out of our Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, and Formemost, AB locations. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of the agriculture industry. This position works together with our growers and team members in collaboration with industry representatives to attain the targets set by our customers by providing agronomic assistance and technical help while supporting our sales and marketing activities. Our unique approach will create a positive impact for long-term sustainability and profitability.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Passion for agriculture 

  • Experience in Ag retail, Agronomy, Sales, Precision Ag/or related field 

  • Degree or Diploma in Agronomy or closely aligned field – P. Ag. or CCA is beneficial

  • Organized, self-directed and self-motivated 

  • Excellent time management skills and strong work ethic

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills

  • High commitment to learning new technologies and agronomic practices

  • Valid class 5 driver's license and clean driver abstract 

  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to use MS Office Suite

  • Positive and upbeat attitude 

  • Eager to learn 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Build strong relationships with growers and industry representatives. 

  • Provide sound agronomic advice while determining appropriate recommendations and technical positioning for agronomic practices and products. 

  • Provide customer support and expert advice on crop nutrition, soil test interpretation, field scouting, diagnostics, and product recommendations. 

  • Utilize agronomic expertise and anticipation of agronomic trends to improve market positioning and profitability of proprietary and vended crop protection and plant nutrition/performance products.

  • Assist with the management and delivery of crop nutrition products, seed, and crop protection products and services. 

  • Develop business plans with farm customers and provide follow-up on cropping plans and recommendations.

  • Support agronomy and sales activities such as agronomy alerts/updates, agronomy bulletins, crop tips, grower agronomy and product meetings, field diagnostics, product inquiry resolution, quick response access to agronomic information by phone and email, marketing and advertising ideas and tools.

  • Daily travel, extended hours and overnight travel as required

  • Be able to lift 40-50 lbs. 

  • Be willing to learn how to operate a forklift.

Agronomists,
Multiple Locations

We are currently recruiting for 2  Agronomists to join our team based out of our Medicine Hat and Foremost, AB locations. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of the agriculture industry. This position works together with our growers and team members in collaboration with industry representatives to attain the targets set by our customers by providing unrivaled agronomic and technical support while assisting our sales and marketing activities. Our unique approach will create a positive impact for long-term sustainability and profitability.

Accounting Clerk
Lethbridge, AB

We are currently recruiting for a full time Accounting Clerk for our Lethbridge, AB  office.  We are looking for an individual to be part of an effective, efficient and energetic team that prides itself on providing accurate and timely information to our customers and management.   The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of the agriculture industry. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for administration of the crop inputs division, safety compliance, and general office administration duties.   

Required Skills & Experience

  • Passion for agriculture 

  • High school diploma required with post secondary education in business accountancy or related work experience preferred 

  • Excellent data entry and computer skills with a high degree of accuracy

  • Organized, self-directed and self-motivated 

  • Adaptable, flexible and able to multi task

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite

  • Positive and upbeat attitude 

  • Eager to learn

  • Bank and supplier reconciliations

  • Accounts payable

  • Accounts receivable

  • Communication with customers and suppliers

  • Communication with coworkers and staff at other locations

  • Assisting with updating Emergency Response Plans for each location

  • AgCollect/Ag Data/Telus data submissions and verifications

  • Data entry
